Made-in-Japan filters costing 40% less than Hario.
Lardera Coffee Roaster’s newest product is a size 2 filter made with superior Japanese paper but costing 40% less than similar products. Sized to fit Hario’s popular V60 dripper, Lardera’s filters will retail for $3 per box, compared to $5 for similar products from Hario.
Lardera’s filters are crafted in Japan and made with the durable 50gsm paper. They won't tear or break as is likely with lesser-quality products and are oxygen-bleached to remove any hint of woody taste and aroma. There is no need to wet them before use, as is common with unbleached filters, removing an extra step from your morning routine.
They don't get a lot of attention, but quality filters are crucial to a great-tasting cup. Their finely woven fibers block coffee impurities and sediment from entering your cup, enhancing its clarity, brightness, and flavor. Investing in quality filters is important, but can be pricey. Lardera aims to bring the superior quality of Japanese filters to a wider audience with an affordable price of just 7.5 cents per serving.
