Upstart Lardera continues to expand its coffee portfolio.
Fresh beans from Peru and Columbia have landed in the Lardera warehouse. All will be sold as green coffee, whole bean roasted, or ground. Keeping with Lardera's mission to encourage customers' exploration of unfamiliar varieties, most are $2 and all can be tried for $10.50.
The 2oz samples, which brew approximately four cups each, give coffee lovers a chance to taste Lardera's five new offerings for only $10.50, experiencing firsthand the rich mosaic of terroir and process that is unique to each.

Beans available as green or freshly roasted.
Three of the new coffees hail from the Junin region of Peru. Junin is a region in central Peru than is comprised of mostly mountains and jungle. The myriad of microclimates here makes this area ideal for growing coffee. The fourth is grown in the jungles of the Monobamba Valley. All four are complex, well-balanced cups that are fruit-forward and devoid of acidity.
The fifth coffee has been imported from the Antioquia region of Columbia, the birthplace of Colombian coffee industry. Coffee trees love Antioquia's volcanic soil and stable climate, which are responsible for the great quality of this region's coffee.
Lardera sources its coffee directly from small, family-owned farms and profiles the farmers on its website, inviting customers to learn more about where their coffee comes from and the amazing care that goes into producing a superior cup.
